Thank you for sharing your thoughts this morning and suggesting ways to do this ourselves. I am wondering if there is a way to listen with audio only as I am on a limited data plan and video uses this up so quickly?

The comparison of the 3 words liberty, freedom and release in the Leviticus passage was very useful in revealing the best understanding of the whole verse in its context. Thank you for this.

Thank you very much for this teaching. I really appreciate it. I have following a devotional in my bible app and I always compere different versions when I don't get the meaning of some worlds. The way you explained was nice and challenging. I looking forward to watch the next video.

Thank you for this Jonathan. I appreciate video/audio formats as I am able to continue to do handwork while listening. It is refreshing to have depth of Word, principles without legalistic burden, and an up to date format - all make the practice of daily Bible reading more accessible and through that, the desired end of drawing near to the Author. Looking forward to the next videos while I chew on this one!

Very informative and good to know what the words may mean in the context in which they were written

Good direction given, Jonathan. I usually compare translations searching for the deeper meanings using CJB, NLT, Message, ESV. One New Man. I tend to go to Jewish commentaries and translation for greater meaning. Looking forward to the next one!

enjoyed that Jonathan, simple and informative. I had not thought of using a dictionary for the words! Thanks for subtitles too - much easier for me as I'm deaf. Looking forward to the next one.

Oh yes. You have given a depth to Bible reading which we too often miss -that of ensuring we really understand what God is saying rather than skimming the surface. It is too easy to think we understand the meaning of those words without digging deep. I look forward to seeing how things develop. Thank you so much.

Thank you Jonathon, I have recently lost a very close friend of mine. We met up often to pray and study together. I believe God has opened this opportunity to help me get a deeper understanding of His word.

Thankyou for the first teaching video. I was blessed by the relevant aspects of studying the bible that you mentioned. It seems to help me if I have a group to study with, although I also appreciate studying alone privately at times.

Thankyou for your clear concise approach and encouragement to dig deeper into the bible, it truly is a blessing to receive your teaching.

This is all very exciting...thank you. I would find it helpful if you could put the relevant bible verse up on the screen ...is that possible?

For this set of workshops, no, I'm afraid not. But for future pieces, absolutely, yes; others have already asked. We are working on a number of improvments and that is definitely one of them.

I am excited about the approach taken for the planned Bible study. For me personally it would provide perfectly for my need of more in depth, disciplined interaction with the Word.

Taking note of the real meaning of every key word in a verse will definitely deepen the appreciation of and deepened relationship with the Author and Finisher of our faith and most of all allowing the verse to sink into my heart and become part of my daily walk and interaction with the people around me.

This was so helpful. I never thought of using a dictionary to study the Bible. I guess it shows that there is always a little bit of bias in how people translate...not intentional, but just inevitable, because we are all flawed humans. I am so looking forward to watching the second video.

I loved how you compared all the words and their meanings. I can see why it is important to have a dictionary as part of a Bible study. Your teaching was simple and enlightening. Thank you! Am looking forward to the next video!
