Luke 1:39

Luke 1:39 In those days Mary arose and went with haste into the hill country, to a town in Judah

In spite of the disturbing news about her own situation, Mary went at once to verify what she had been told. Even though that might have meant travelling alone, the text tells us that she arose - definite, vigorous action - and she went with haste, we might say 'hurried', up into the hill country of Judea to visit her relative Elisabeth and find out about her experience and what was happening to her. What can we learn from this? Do we do the same?

Confirmations are always necessary in the people that God uses to confirm what we have Been Told usually are the best encouragers to help us proceed, and move forward but the difficulties that will follow. Also often times these encouragers have follow the lord with a hunger to press through to confirm similar struggles that we will endure, victory is the only way, those who have tasted it are the best to pass it on.
