Luke 4:31-32 And He went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee. And He was teaching them on the Sabbath, and they were astonished at His teaching, for His word possessed authority.
Jesus' teaching stood out from the crowd. He only had to open His mouth and people recognised the authority of His words. And yet, so Luke's text records, He didn't do anything special (yet). No miracles or signs and wonders. He just taught the people, from the Word, on Shabbat. That was enough to show His authority.
We too have been given that authority, but do we use it? Do we teach quietly and clearly from the Word of God and allow its authority to speak?
