Luke 7:16-17

Luke 7:16-17 Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people!" And this report about him spread through the whole of Judea and all the surrounding country.

What would it take for this to happen today? It will certainly happen when Jesus returns, for then every eye shall see Him and there will be no mistake. But should we be looking for this to be happening in the every day, now?

Some would argue, 'no', since the event that caused it would inevitably draw attention to the person who seemed to be the fcae of the miracle. Others would say, 'yes', on the grounds that any publicity for the kingdom of God in these days must be good publicity.

What do you think?
