Isaiah 1:23

Isaiah 1:23 Your princes are rebels and companions of thieves. Everyone loves a bribe and runs after gifts. They do not bring justice to the fatherless, and the widow's cause does not come to them.

Corruption within government is endemic in many nations of the world. Offering and taking - even, perhaps, expecting - a bribe or a gift to "sweeten" an official or "oil the wheels" of a project is all too commonplace. Does it happen in your country? No matter where you live, you can be absolutely certain that it does - and in much larger ways and amounts than anyone would think. At the same time, the absence of justice - that is, true justice as opposed to the phony, hollow and shallow lies of political correctness - is becoming more marked every day. The causes of the "widows and orphans" - a token representing the rights of the disenfranchised in general as well as their own particular issue - are widely ignored and taken advantage of for cheap political (and sometimes, downright monetary) gain.

Are you anywhere in the corruption food chain? Are you connected with any of those involved in shady financial opeartions, oppressive transactions, insider dealing or worse? Time to clean the house and purge tainted money from the house of the Lord!
