Isaiah 2:8

Isaiah 2:8 Their land is filled with idols; they bow down to the work of their hands, to what their own fingers have made.

In a third list of issues, God points out that His people have become entangled with idols. Archaeology shows us what ancient idols looked like and we cannot imagine how anyone could bow down to things like that. But what do we bow down to today? How much time and attention do we give to our smart-phones, to our home entertainment, to Alexa? These are what our own fingers have made and we are amazed at them, buy them, drool over other people's. Is our land filled with idols?
