Isaiah 5:2 He dug it and cleared it of stones, and planted it with choice vines; he built a watchtower in the midst of it, and hewed out a wine vat in it; and he looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded wild grapes.
In Isaiah's story, God does everything that ought to be necessary for the planting of a vineyard. Yet, when all that was done, the vineyard yieled only wild or sour grapes. It didn't return His investment or care.
Given the investment that God has made in us, are we yielding the fruit for which He is looking? Is He getting choice grapes or only sour and bitter wild fruit?
