Luke 12:11-12

Luke 12:11-12 And when they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not be anxious about how you should defend yourself or what you should say, for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.

Two things to learn here: we will be called to give an account for our faith in this world; and that the Spirit of God will gives us the words when we need them.

Not being pressed in this way? Not summoned before rulers and authorities? The world of political correctnes hasn't caught up with you yet and you've managed to keep quiet so far. It is coming. There are a number of issues that are forcing their way into society where simply disagreeing in private but keeping quiet in public is becoming an increasingly difficult position to hold. They insist on explicit affirmation and won't tolerate any dissent, even if silent.

But be encouraged: The Holy Spirit will provide the words when the time comes.
