Luke 16:16-17

Luke 16:16-17 The Law and the Prophets were until John; since then the good news of the kingdom of God is preached, and everyone forces his way into it. But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one dot of the Law to become void.

The Torah will not pass away (see Matthew 5:18), but the kingdom of God is now being proclaimed so that all who wish to enter may do so. Those who hear the good news grasp it with both hands and will not be denied entry - the good news is simply too good to pass by. To truly hear the gospel is to know that it must be accepted at all costs. The Torah was given to Israel and to all those who would join her in following the One True God, the God of Israel. God's calling on Israel will remain true and faithful for all time, without wavering or changing in the smallest detail. The gospel provides a way for relationship with God to all those from the nations who will accept God's invitation to enter the kingdom.

It is amazing how the world has progressed with technology. And yet, with all the 'advances', two things remain the same. The perfect truth of God's Word and the lie of the enemy. God's Word clearly states how the enemy will be destroyed. If God said it ... He will fulfill it. Amen!
