Isaiah 43:18-19

Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

Harder done than said for most people. If you are anything like me, then looking over your shoulder at what happened last time, or remembering events from child-hood or early adult life (often, with a shudder and a blush of shame), comes only too naturally. But this isn't the way God wants us to be. He is interested in what He is going to do next, starting now. And it will be new, different and altogether game-changing if we will allow Him to take us on His adventure. It won't be like the past; it won't have happened before and it will be entirely new!
