Luke 21:2 ... then He saw a poor widow put in two small copper coins.
Ever done that too? Have you ever watched people making very small gifts or donations and wondered what good that will do? But notice what our verse says, because it is very important: Jesus saw. Jesus noticed the small shabby figure, creeping up after the rich people had poured their bags of money into the offering boxes. He noticed that she put in precisely two copper coins.
Never think that God doesn't see even the smallest of gifts that His people give. He notices every last one and they are precious in His sight. He reciprocates by blessing the giver. Not perhaps in worldly finance terms, but with His favour and with an eternal reward that this world can never touch or appreciate.
Which kind of reward would you rather have?
