Luke 22:35

Luke 22:35 And Jesus said to them, "When I sent you out with no moneybag or knapsack or sandals, did you lack anything?" They said, "Nothing."

Here's an important truth that we need to understand: when we are sent out by Jesus, we do not lack for anything. He provides, the kingdom of God provides, all that is needed and necessary to accomplish the task for which we have been sent.

So if you are somewhere where you are lacking those basic essentials and are unable to fulfil the commission that has been laid upon you as a follower of Jesus, it's time to ask the question: have I been sent? Or, perhaps, more particularly, am I in the place to which I have been sent? Am I being obedient, doing what I have been sent to do, or have I wandered off somewhere else? Have I changed my instructions into something that I thought would be a better idea?

Just a thought!

Comment -

Time for some soul searching. Nothing has gone as planned since we arrived here. Our business has failed miserably and continues in a downward spiral. It is a very humbling position to think I got it all wrong.
