Isaiah 64:8 But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You are our potter; we are all the work of Your hand.
A healthy dose of reality never did anyone any harm. We need to remember today who we are. We are the clay, not the potter; we are the work of His hand. It is not for us to try and redesign ourselves, to change the rules of the parameters - these are all God's prerogative. He is making us, His people, and He is making His ekklesia, building us together to make His Holy Temple - according to His masterplan. This, as Paul reminds us, is not built with human hands but by the Spirit of God, based on Jesus the Cornerstone.
