Exodus 25:8

Exodus 25:8 And let them make Me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst.

This is challenging, isn't it. How do we make a sanctuary for God that He might dwell in our midst? And does 'our' mean families in their homes, or the community of God? If, as Jesus promised, He is wherever two or three are gathered in His name, how should we welcome Him so that our company becomes a sanctuary?

Shalom, I have come to tradition k n o w that the shelter under his wings was his Commandments, and his presence, and the prayer shawl was pulled over the head, with the neck piece declaring honor to his name was over the head. Thus providing a tent. Even in the scriptures that is mentioned, t e n t equals a Dwelling Place. This would make most scriptures using the term very personal.
