Ecclesiastes 3:17

Ecclesiastes 3:17 I said in my heart, God will judge the righteous and the wicked, for there is a time for every matter and for every work.

Recognising this simple fact is such a liberating experience. When we understand that God will judge everyone - the righteous and the wicked - alike, suddenly there is time for everything. If you are short of time, think about all the different things, tasks and assignments you are carrying (or trying to carry) out. He has provided enough time for all the things you are supposed to be doing.

Worrying about what other people are doing, then trying to correct or cover for what they have done wrong consumes our time and eats our emotional energy. We need to focus on what we have to do and leave God to take care of everybody else. He will, that's for sure, and that releases our time and emotions for the things that really matter: loving God, taking care of our family and doing the work that is on our plate.
