John 4:35-36 Do you not say, 'There are yet four months, then comes the harvest'? Look, I tell you, lift up your eyes, and see that the fields are white for harvest. Already the one who reaps is receiving wages and gathering fruit for eternal life, so that sower and reaper may rejoice together.
If Jesus could say that nearly two thousand years ago - that the fields are white for harvest - then how much more so today. World population has risen dramatically, yet many people remain in ignorance of the basic gospel.
Are you a sower or a reaper? Do you plant seeds, or do you close the deal and ask people if they want to become a Christian now? Both are needed in the kingdom of God: sharing the word and God's ways; and helping people to reach a decision rather than just sitting on the fence. Which do you think you could do - open or close?
The fields are still white for harvest, but clouds are on the horizon and the harvest needs to be gathered into the Master's barns before the storm breaks. Everyone has been called to come and help in the fields so that nothng is wasted and none should perish. Are you coming?
